The garden is my happy place which I fondly call my wild garden. It’s a combination of intentional plantings and letting things take their natural course. When I discovered eco printing I quickly became obsessed with the process. It reminds me of my gardening style—letting things happen with only some control on my part. With my Wild Garden Botanicals I let nature do it’s part and am mesmerized by the beauty that I can create with an understanding of design and a little magic!

Nighttime landscapes are alluring. They draw us into a quiet still world. We experience these works as secretive, private, sensual, isolating, haunting, soothing, ethereal, magical, mystical, transcending.

“I have been taking night walks on my street and around Callicoon during the full moons. Taking photos by the light of the moon has opened up a new world to me—the illumination of glowing windows, street lamps, vehicle headlights, even gas-station lights and signs evoke a serene setting. I am so at peace during these strolls, transported to another time—the scenes feel more personal, more internal, other worldly—the limited light sources bring sharper focus to what is visible. I am intrigued by the subtle palettes and veiled textures. For me the tranquil existence of living in the Upper Delaware River Valley is enhanced at night—becoming even more still and peaceful. It’s a sublime experience.”
